The National Council for the Traditional Arts (NCTA) The NCTA is the nation’s oldest multicultural arts presenting organization. For over eight decades, through festivals, tours, symposia, exhibits, and media productions, the NCTA has showcased the very best of the myriad grassroots folk, tribal and ethnic cultures that comprise our diverse nation.
The talents, skills and dedication that NCTA’s volunteers bring to the organization are critical to the success of its programs and mission. Volunteers participate in and contribute to nearly every area of the Council’s work in a variety of ways — from the activities of the Board of Directors to those who help produce NCTA events and programs or provide administrative support.
